PengyOS now checks for updates every day; a notification tells you when one is ready — turn it off, or have it remind you tomorrow, in 3 days, a week or a month.

Updates can now bring a new boot loader (GRUB) along with the system. Install images for every edition are on the download page.</pengyos:notes>

Installed machines can now update themselves with "sudo pengyos-update apply --reboot": the new system is written into the spare system slot and tried once, and if it does not come up the next restart returns to the old one. Also new: the openssl command, and new build-time content under /var reaches existing installs when they update.</pengyos:notes>
